LL: so first of all according to ac we're kind of early for this quest. which is good bc if the agents from prospit and derse beat us to our denizens the game gets WAY harder
LL: and that's all bc of u guyses help!
VA: agents?
LL: they're these guys who get prototyped like our sprites and its their mission to kill us, they're sort of like other groups of players also trying to win the game except they're trying to find the rings and scepters instead of doing land quests
VA: oh the assassins.
LL: yea
LL: uhhh where was i. denizens.
LL: denizens are these super powerful wise ultra angels kinda. we went and visited mine first cause we were already in my land and she was pretty intimidating! we had to negotiate for the info, she gave me a quest i have to do after i transcend to pay her back
VA: so how does transcendence happen.
LL: it's actually way simpler than i thought. i guess it's more preparing for it that's hard but you get to skip a lot of that!
LL: you have to unite with your dreamself and your shade, in that order, which you just do by touching them
VA: OK I've heard about dreamselves but I don't think anyone mentioned shades.
LL: oh uve never died yet? that's impressive!
VA: this is what you meant when you said that shades can't kill us permanently. we come back to life?
LL: yeah so what'd normally happen if u got killed by a monster is u'd wake up in the last bed you slept in and not remember anything that happened since then
LL: then if u went back to where u died u'd meet ur shade, which is like a spooky dark glowing version of u that wants to kill u. except it's also literally you, just the parts of yourself that don't get along with your i guess core identity? or the parts of u that want to hurt urself? kaos explained this but i wasn't exactly taking notes
LL: basically every time u die u have to kill ur shade to get ur memories back. which seems rlly messed up once u learn it's actually part of u.
LL: anyway once ur half transcended (aka you've touched your dreamself) u can safely touch ur shade and absorb it. cos i guess ur dreamself is another part of u that makes it easier to accept ur shade?? idk
LL: but that's transcendence!
LL: then we went to see mari's denizen anyway just bc, so it was another whole thing, but we didn't learn anything new about transcendence there
VA: so all I have to do is find them and touch them.
LL: well to find ur shade u have to die somewhere then get back there but yeah finding ur dreamself should just mean u need to go to ur dream moon. i'm guessing prospit lol
VA: what's the difference.
LL: prospit's the gold one. me and maz dream on prospit, it's kinda hard to explain but it feels like we have sth in common that our friends who dream on derse don't have w us? plucks my concordance senses
LL: uhhh anyway lol
VA: so I should go back to my land and look for a gold transportalizer instead.
LL: well not necessarily, the veil has transportalizers that go lots of places. it's probly a better hub than ur land
LL: i did get lost in there for a while tho lol
