A young mydian stands in her bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 3rd day of Kinnding I, 8114, is the anniversary of her hatching, although she doesn't know this because every member of her species increases their numerical age on the same day. In two periods she will officially join the vaunted ranks of twenty-three-season-old mydians (that's about fifteen Earth years, for the record).
She's had a name this whole time, and maybe if we can just BE HER we can find out what it is.
