Infodump about kind of stupid Coric show.

This is one of the DVD boxes--not that you have any way to get DVDs sent here from Myd Core, there is zero international mail coming in or out of Myd Cuth unless you're some kind of diplomat. You just got it online, burned it onto a disc, and printed out some box art because you like having physical objects corresponding to your favorite things.

Anyway, the show is about a regular neighborhood in some Coric city and all the drama its inhabitants get up to. This volume cover spotlights your favorite characters, SELAR SOLNIM and NNCON COLAI. Selar is a warrior who's recently been on her new-baby sabbatical, trying to sort out how to take care of her kid while juggling her social responsibilities. Her neighbor across the street is the builder Nncon, who at the beginning of the show is kind of a friendless nervous wreck for reasons that very gradually become clear. The rest of the characters up top are other residents of Porphyria Street, except for Nncon's sibling DRAIK on the far right, who's introduced in this volume and so far has only been to ir house in flashbacks.

The whole show is kind of cheesy and overwrought, but there's a ton of it and you're learning so much about Coric culture! For instance, in Myd Core there's a semi-formalized whisper network that no-one is allowed to acknowledge. Instead of just gossipping from adjacent balconies like regular people, they hide little notes in the presents they're constantly giving each other. Weird!
