The idea of ykhlat polot, or sovereignty over acts, *is* derived from your creator's writings, though what they actually said was that Cantor's Book of Eternity was written not as a blueprint but as an order. You're sure they had more thoughts about that, but it was written like it was a reminder; only the Rabik needed to know what it meant.
People have had three centuries to decide the meaning of those notes, and some of them decided they meant the divine plan is a clipa. Orthodoxy in most of Amdai is that sovereignty belongs exclusively to the True Name, that following its designated paths is the only true way to live. According to Cantor, this sovereignty extends to even the smallest action anyone will ever take, and that's a good thing. According to Ykholists, the ultimate meaning of the human moshia is not to merge with the angels and live in perfectly obedient bliss for eternity, but to seize sovereignty over their own actions and thus transcend the plan of the True Word. According to a lot of local kings and princes, Ykholists need to be killed to the last person.
