The expatriate requests an ocular aid. It appears that someone has used a massive railgun to spear Prospit's moon from the surface of the Dark Planet it now orbits, dragging it into a permanent eclipse.
What is it? the bipartisan captain asks. The expatriate replies that Prospit is about to be boarded.
The captain is incredulous. What does it even mean to board Prospit? The expatriate replies that since Skaia has been replaced by this Dark Planet, anything might be possible. And he has a suspicion as to who might be responsible. He asks whether the captain recalls his final visit to Prospit, all those years ago.
